{"id":160,"date":"2015-05-19T02:55:09","date_gmt":"2015-05-19T02:55:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.codyscomiccorner.com\/?p=160"},"modified":"2015-05-23T15:57:58","modified_gmt":"2015-05-23T22:57:58","slug":"captain-america-and-the-mighty-avengers-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.codyscomiccorner.com\/?p=160","title":{"rendered":"Captain America and the Mighty Avengers 8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This! \u00a0This, this, <em>this<\/em>. \u00a0As Jonathan Hickman\u2019s specialty is not writing <em>human beings<\/em>, this Secret Wars tie-in issue, written by Al Ewing, is one of the only comics to make me <em>feel<\/em> like the world is actually coming to an end. \u00a0Grumpy Old Man Rogers brings the Mighty Avengers up to speed about the multiverse collapsing in on itself and how it\u2019s basically too late for anyone to do anything about it. \u00a0He sums up Steve Rogers\u2019 perspective on the situation beautifully:<\/p>\n<p>Rogers: \u201c<em>Earth is the collision point<\/em> \u2014 don\u2019t you <em>get<\/em> it?
